Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend has reportedly been asked to feature in a bombshell book about the famous family.
Model Hana Cross was first linked to the eldest Beckham child in late 2018, and their romance was incredibly public, as they frequently shared snaps on Instagram and were papped at events.
While neither party explicitly addressed their breakup, it was confirmed in September 2019 that they had parted ways, prompting them to wipe all traces of each other from social media.
During their relationship, Hana became well integrated into the Beckham clan, so it’s perhaps not surprising that she’s allegedly been approached to feature in a tell-all book.
With the working title Brand Beckham and the subtitle The Fame, the Feuds, the Fallout, it is said to be offering ‘the inside account of the Beckham family saga.’
Set to hit shelves in August, it promises ‘eye-watering revelations.’
And to build a picture of what goes on behind closed doors, a range of acquaintances and relatives have received calls.
A source told The Sun: ‘The Beckhams won’t be happy.
‘Some of their once-closest allies have been contacted.
‘Even members of their family have had a knock on the shoulder to see if they’ll talk.’
As for Hana’s involvement specifically, while she has ‘been contacted directly,’ she ‘isn’t talking’ just yet.
Whether she will be persuaded to lift the lid on the Beckhams’ private lives remains to be seen, but previous reports claimed that while she considered speaking out, she ultimately ‘backed out’ of another exposé.
A source told the Daily Mail in late January: ‘Brooklyn was the black sheep of the family, and that would have been her story.
‘There were problems with him and the family even back then.’
They added: ‘Hana wanted to tell her story, but she had some heavy messages from the Brooklyn side warning her about being indiscreet, so she thought better of it.’
It’s been said that tensions arose between Hana, Brooklyn, and his family when he was asked to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement, but he refused.
Hana was seen with Brooklyn’s parents on several occasions, going with the children to Coachella, becoming Insta pals with Gordon Ramsay, and attending Victoria’s birthday party in 2019. In fact, she was the only non-family member invited.
Speaking about her relationship with the fashion designer, Hana previously told Tatler magazine: ‘We talk about everything.’
Ahead of Brooklyn and Hana’s split, though, the cracks in their relationship became noticeable to everyone, as they were photographed mid-argument a few times.
For Valentine’s Day, they took a trip to Paris, where Brooklyn declared himself the ‘luckiest man in the world,’ and Hana thanked him with a comment saying she felt like ‘the happiest girl’.
In March, however, it’s said she ‘read him the riot act’ after he ‘sunk a few beers’ at a Yungblud gig in London, leading to a row.
‘It had been a bit of a wild night out, and it got a bit messy,’ said a source at the time.
‘Brooklyn got really upset and ended up storming into the street. Hana read him the riot act and told him she didn’t like it when he was acting up and drinking too much.’
When they finally called time on their fling, reports claimed that David and Victoria were thrilled, having suggested months earlier that Brooklyn put an end to it.
After the separation, Hana is believed to have dated Jack Whitehall and Jude Law’s son, Rafferty.
Brooklyn, of course, went on to marry Nicola Peltz in 2022, having since relocated to the States to be with her and her billionaire family while cutting ties with his own.
This week, the former photographer celebrated his 27th birthday with the Lola actress and their close friends, and he did not respond publicly to his mum and dad’s well-wishes.
Taking to their Instagram Stories on March 4, they wrote that they love their estranged son ‘so much’ and referred to him with his childhood nickname, Bust, which David has tattooed on him.
Brothers Romeo and Cruz also posted throwback snaps for the occasion, with Brooklyn less than impressed in the aftermath, having already slammed his family for being ‘performative’ in his shocking January statement, where he also accused them of ‘controlling’ him.
As for Nicola, she wrote in an affectionate caption: ‘happy birthday baby 🎂 i hope all your dreams and wishes come true! you light up every room you walk into and anyone who knows you loves you 🥹 you’re the most special human and i love being your wife. i love you i love you i love you’.
‘My baby girl xxx’, Brooklyn commented underneath.
Representatives for Brooklyn, David, and Victoria Beckham and Hana Cross have been contacted for comment.
