Joe Burrow and Puka Nacua UFC hangout sparks Rams team-up rumors

Usually, when two NFL players hang out during the offseason, it doesn’t make much noise.

But when one of those players is a superstar, people start to talk. If it’s a superstar in a public setting, then the internet begins to whisper.

Yet, when it’s two superstar players hanging out at another sporting event, this case, UFC 326 in Las Vegas, it’s going to get social media cooking.

That’s what happened this past weekend in Las Vegas, as Cincinnati Bengals franchise quarterback Joe Burrow was seen with Los Angeles Rams wideout Puka Nacua.

It’s not the first time the two cornerstones of their respective franchises hooked up this offseason. Burrow and Nacua attended Marie Claire Power Play, a Marie Claire event spotlighting influential women in sports.

Although the Bengals and Rams have a storied history against each other, particularly a few years ago when Los Angeles beat Burrow in the Super Bowl, Nacua was at BYU when that happened.

The meet-up had numerous people on social media wondering whether the two friends could form a partnership on the field as well.

Although the Rams are planning to give Nacua a major extension this offseason that could make him the highest-paid receiver in football, Burrow openly talked about wanting to be somewhere he can win and contend for a Lombardi Trophy.

With Matthew Stafford nearing retirement, Sean McVay could consider Burrow as the next Rams QB if he ever becomes available or forces a trade from Cincinnati. While it’s unlikely, as Burrow has defended the city he plays for, that could change incredibly fast if they miss the playoffs for a fourth straight season in 2026.

“Puka Nucua prepping Joe Burrow to come to LA after Stafford retires,” one fan posted on social media.

“See Joe hanging out with Puka a lot,” another viewer said, adding the eyes emoji to the end of their post.

Even a viewer from Japan got in on the hype, stating that Burrow and Nacua will be the future of the Rams as their dynamic one-two punch.

With free agency opening on Monday, it’s paramount for the Bengals to build a team that can make the postseason alongside Burrow. If not, these rumors of the Rams and more NFL teams will only continue.
