Who is Eve Myles’ husband Bradley Freegard, and how did they meet?

Eve is married to fellow actor Bradley Freegard, 49.

He is best known for starring in Teulu, EastEnders, Casualty and Doctors.

The couple have also acted alongside each other in the series Un Bore Mercher/Keeping Faith.

He also played King Canute in the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla.

Do Eve and Bradley have any children?

Meeting Bradley at the National Youth Theatre in 1994, Eve once joked that she ‘couldn’t get rid of him’.

‘He would knock on my dorm-room door all the time with Champagne and glasses he’d pinched from his mother’s house. Then one day I realised he was rather handsome!’ she once recalled.

He previously said of her: ‘I was attracted to her straight away, she’s got a fantastic personality and similar sense of humour as me, so we just get on really well.’

‘We’re both actors, this is our profession, it’s just what we do. The real reason I think we’ve been together so long and through so much is because we were with each other before things really started taking off.’

The couple then married in Italy in 2013. The ceremony was so small it only included one guest – their then three-year-old daughter Matilda.

‘It was heaven on earth,’ she told WalesOnline a month after the ceremony.

‘I’d put my wedding off three times because of work commitments. This time I said we’re not putting it off this time, we’re getting married this year.’

She continued: ‘It was in the most beautiful villa, we sat on a big wedding table, with crystal chandeliers above us and we had our own waiter. Matilda was just happily running around. It was an amazing day.’

‘And the day after we just visited Florence and Siena, eating pizza and drinking cold beer. Italy is an amazing country.’

Discussing getting married to her long-term partner, she explained: ‘It does feel different from before, it’s a nice warm feeling. It is nice for Matilda to know that her mum and dad are married. We are all Myles-Freegards now.’

The couple have three daughters together and they live in Cardiff, Wales.

Gone starts tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
