Dak Prescott comments on George Pickens’ contract situation
Dak Prescott was recently seen at a fundraiser where he gave his opinion on George Pickens’ franchise tag.
Prescott, who has been franchise tagged twice by the Cowboys, told the wide receiver that he should not worry about the business side of things.
Prescott said, “George loves football. That’s the one thing about it. I just want him to know, don’t change your love for football. Don’t get in the business mind of this.”
However, former NFL wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh believes Prescott should have said what he said. “I just really wish Dak would have minded his business with this one,” Houshmandzadeh said, speaking on Speakeasy. “I really do. I really wish he would have just minded his business.”
Dak Prescott has been in Pickens’ shoes before, being franchise tagged twice and then offered a large contract. In fact, Prescott is currently the league’s highest-paid player, with a four-year contract valued at $240 million with the Dallas Cowboys.
