Bhad Bhabie opens up after bad news: God has the final say, not my cancer

Rapper Bhad Bhabie (22), real name Danielle Bregoli, has once again caused concern on social media when she revealed that she had received bad news related to her cancer treatment. In a short but powerful message, she shared with her millions of followers details about a new twist in her difficult health battle.

“Bad news from my doctor yesterday,” she wrote, but immediately added a message of hope and faith that has become her trademark during her fight: “God has the last say, not my cancer.”

With this announcement, she confirmed that she was facing new complications, but also that she was not giving up on her positive attitude despite the challenges ahead.

Fight with cancer

Her fight began in November 2024, when she publicly confirmed her diagnosis after fans had speculated for months about her sudden weight loss. At the time, she put an end to the speculation with a heartfelt message on Instagram.

I’m sorry my cancer medication made me loose [sic] weight. I’m slowly gaining it back. So, stop running [with] the worst narratives,” she said at the time. Although she initially did not reveal details, it was later confirmed that she was battling a form of blood cancer, after she revealed in early 2025 that her results showed an elevated white blood cell count, which is characteristic of leukemia or bone marrow disorders.

Living under the public spotlight brought additional pressure to her. In addition to dealing with difficult treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation, which caused exhaustion and nausea, she also faced cruel comments online. Some accused her of making up her illness, to which her mother Barbara, who herself had twice battled cancer, responded sharply.

“I pray to God that none of your children ever get cancer. How dare you say my daughter is making this up?” she told critics at the time.

Her decision to undergo cosmetic procedures, including a nose job, sparked further controversy, but the rapper explained that her oncologists gave her the go-ahead, emphasizing that she felt strong enough and wanted to continue living as normally as possible.

She finds the greatest strength in her most difficult moments in her daughter Kali Love, whom she gave birth to in March 2024, just a few months before her shocking diagnosis.

After the latest bad news was announced, she shared touching moments with her daughter on social media, showing that motherhood is her main driving force. Despite the grueling treatment, Danielle did not give up on her career. She continued to work on new music and publish content on the OnlyFans platform, where she earned millions in previous years, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a routine and a sense of normality.
