Bad Bunny took the stage in Tokyo on March 7, marking his first-ever performance in Asia.
The Puerto Rican artist, 31, performed as a part of Spotify’s Billions Club Live series, which celebrates artists and their songs that have earned over one billion streams on the platform. The concert took place at Tipstar Dome Chiba, where an audience of roughly 2,000 attended. Notable guests included BLACKPINK’s Lisa and designer Takashi Murakami among others.
The Puerto Rican star’s appearance in Japan follows his being Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2025, marking his fourth time taking on the title. Bad Bunny boasts 29 songs that have brought in over one billion streams.

Bad Bunny’s performance earned raucous cheers from his eager audience, who sang and danced along to all of the star’s hit tracks. He opened the set with ‘EoO’ then dove into ‘Me Porto Bonito.’
He continued to work his way through his impressive discography, earning cheers from the crowd as strangers and friends alike embraced Bad Bunny’s Latin flair.
Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy also made a surprise guest appearance to perform ‘Safaera’ alongside Bad Bunny.
Songs such as ‘Neverita’ and ‘NUEVAYoL’ are just a few of Bad Bunny’s tracks to enter the one-billion stream club. Videos from the concert shows attendees jumping and dancing with their hands in the air as the hitmaker launched into ‘DÁKITI,’ which features fellow Puerto Rican singer and rapper Jhayco and has racked up an impressive over 2 billion streams on Spotify alone.
Other songs on Bad Bunny’’s 17-track set list include ‘La Canción,’ ‘Tití Me Preguntó’ and ‘BAILE INoLVIDABLE.’ He also performed ‘Yonaguni,’ named after the Japanese island, which features Japanese in its outro–an apt inclusion given the show’s location in Tokyo.
He finished up the outstanding concert performance with the viral megahit, ‘DtMF.’
Bad Bunny’s appearance in Japan comes weeks after his record-breaking, history-making halftime show at Super Bowl LX. The performance brought in over 4 billion views within 24 hours across all platforms, per Roc Nation.
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance celebrated Latin culture, specifically honing in on the singer’s home of Puerto Rico. Stage pieces like a ‘casita,’ a barbershop and sugar cane fields all paid homage to Puerto Rico and its rich history.
Surprise guests included Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin. Celebrities like Pedro Pascal, Cardi B and Karol G were featured dancing along during the performance.
Other artists who have performed for Spotify’s Billions Club include the Weeknd, Miley Cyrus and Ed Sheeran, who performed in Los Angeles, Paris and Dublin, respectively. These concerts are invite-only, reserved for an artist’s top listeners on Spotify.
