Amy Adams is a legend of film, but she’s most dedicated to her role as a mother.
The actress, 51, earned cult status for her film debut in the dark pageant comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous, followed by an outstanding performance in the film Junebug. In the years that followed, Adams has turned herself into one of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars, with roles in films like The Master, The Fighter, and American Hustle. She even took her talents to the TV screen with a groundbreaking portrayal of an alcoholic reporter searching for the truth in HBO’s Sharp Objects.
While Adams continues to be an acclaimed star, she took a break from acting to join her daughter, 15-year-old Aviana Oleo Le Gallo, at Paris Fashion Week to enjoy the Lacoste show. The teen, whose dad is Darren Le Gallo, smiled alongside her stunning mother at the show.

What Has Amy Adams Said About Parenting?
Adams has spoken candidly about her early years as a parent. In 2024, she told PEOPLE that when Aviana was a baby, she was struggling particularly hard. In the midst of filming The Muppets and promoting The Fighter, she wasn’t getting any sleep.
âI wasnât sleeping because I was up with her at night,â she told the publication. âI was tired, but also I felt so different. I know the world didnât see me differently. But I felt it very internally that something had shifted.â
As a result, Adams felt like she was âwatching it all sort of fall apart because I wasnât communicating what I really neededâŚJust burning the candle at both ends until you can only do that for so long, and doing what I call closet crying. You never want anybody to see you cry, so I would cry in the closet, which just paints such a sad picture, but I donât think Iâm alone in that.âÂ
Luckily, she and her husband were able to figure out a plan to work on their schedule.
Would Amy Adams Allow Aviana to Go into Acting?
Thus far, Aviana has shown “no interest” in taking up her mother’s trade, Adams shared during a December 2024 episode of Live with Kelly and Mark. But if that’s what she decides to pursue someday, Adams says she would support it.
“If it feeds her soul and she loves it, Iâm here for it,” Adams said. “But so far, she has no interest.”
No matter what Aviana chooses to go into, she has plenty of inspiration around her. Amy’s own mother raised seven children while being an amateur bodybuilder!
