The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is again sparking debate as remarks from ex-cast member Lisa Rinna’s memoir triggered responses from other cast members. In her 2026 memoir “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” Rinna discussed her experiences on the show and gave her opinions about some co, stars such as Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais.
In one chapter, Rinna discussed the concept of dressing up during the shoot and named Stracke while describing a clothing fitting scene at a Dolce & Gabbana store. She claimed that she had to pretend that Stracke’s outfit was good and then wrote that she was “happy to drag Sutton.”
These statements have been extensively circulated online ever since the book came out. Shortly after, Kyle Richards responded to the remarks in a livestream. Richards thought that the comments about Stracke were too harsh and she explained how discussing someone’s looks in public can have an effect on their feelings.
Rinna mentioned other series cast members, including Garcelle Beauvais, and explored her connections with the people from the show in the book which came out a few years after Rinna exited the reality show in 2022 after doing eight seasons.
The book includes Rinna’s reflections on her time on the series and her interactions with other members of the cast.

RHOBH star Kyle Richards addresses Lisa Rinna’s memoir comments
Kyle Richards discussed the memoir during a livestream after parts of the book circulated online. She spoke about the comments Rinna made about Sutton Stracke and said the remarks were unnecessary.
Richards said, “Not nice.” She also spoke about the effect such comments can have on people who are part of the show and those who read them.
During the livestream, Richards said, “People have feelings. … We’re all human and we all have feelings.” She also said that speaking about someone’s body publicly is something that should be avoided.
Richards continued by saying, “It’s better not to comment on people’s bodies, and Sutton is beautiful.”
The discussion came after readers shared excerpts from the memoir on social media platforms and online forums. Some viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills responded to the passages and debated the remarks made in the book.
Richards has appeared alongside both Rinna and Stracke on the Bravo series during different seasons. Her livestream comments added another response from a cast member following the memoir’s release.
The book includes multiple references to Rinna’s experiences on the show and her views on people she filmed with during her time on the series.

Rinna’s book also mentions Garcelle Beauvais and her exit from the show
In the same chapter of the memoir, Lisa Rinna also wrote about Garcelle Beauvais, who joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as its first Black full-time cast member. Rinna said Beauvais was “fake from head to toe.”
Rinna also grouped Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Denise Richards together while discussing her experiences with them on the show. She wrote that she viewed them as “full-blown narcissists.”
In the memoir, Rinna said she did not support some cast members when they joined the show because she believed they were not genuine. She wrote, “They put on a good show, but on a fundamental level we just did not vibe at all.”
The memoir was released several years after Rinna left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She exited the series in 2022 after appearing on the show for eight seasons.
During an interview with Us Weekly, Rinna said she does not plan to return to the reality series. She said, “That is out of the question. I’m done with that.”
Rinna added that although she has moved on, she believes her time on the show influenced her career and personal journey after leaving the franchise.
