15 members inducted into the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame inducted 15 new members during their 33rd annual induction ceremony.

The event was held at the Zorah Shrine in Terre Haute, where people got to enjoy food and music before the hall of fame introduced the newest members. Some of the inductees also performed on stage for everyone in attendance after receiving their induction plaque. Paul Scott is the vice president of the Wabash Valley Musicians Hall of Fame and he mentioned how all the members in this hall of fame show how strong the music industry is here in the Wabash Valley.

“We’ve got people all over the Wabash Valley,” Scott said. “They could be in Sullivan County, Vigo County, Clay County, wherever, so we were recognized all these people and bring them into the hall of fame. It doesn’t just rule out where you live. We have some people right now that are from the valley who now live in Nashville, Tennessee and they’re professional musicians. So yeah, they’re from all over.”

Scott mentioned how this event can’t be done without the help of all the volunteers and board members who help put this event on.
