Chappell Roan lets her cheeks out for Vivienne Westwood

It’s Marie Antoinette, Vivienne Westwood’s version.

During Paris Fashion Week, Chappell Roan brought her signature theatrical glam to the Westwood Fall 2026 show—with a look that merged the late 18th century with our modern day. Styled by Genesis Webb, the singer sat front row in an avant-garde dark-gray gown, designed with wide shoulder pads and a deep ruffled neckline. The basque-waist bodice was adorned with black lace and beading, with drop jewels cascading down into the voluminous skirt.

The skirt, however, turned out to just cover her front half, making for a cheeky surprise when Roan turned around. The pantless piece was paired with sheer black tights, open-toe heels with feathery lace-up ties, and a lacy ruffled thong—the perfect match to the delicate gloves that peeked out from her quarter sleeves.

The star and her stylist accessorized with a velvet choker and a tiny colorful bag from the house. The top-handle bag, known as the Hazel, was crafted from wool in a check pattern and stood out against the rest of the gray-and-black look.

From the neck up, Roan channeled Marie Antoinette. Working with hair stylist Lacy Redway, her red locks—which were given a sculptural bob mere days ago for the Acne Studios show—were pulled up into an ultra-high textured updo, à la the French queen herself. Little curls framed her face, and makeup artist Andrew Dahling gave the singer a powdered complexion with blushed eye shadow and strong, angular lips. Paris Fashion Week royalty indeed.
