Corey Parker, an actor who starred in the popular television series Will & Grace, has died at the age of 60.

His aunt, Emily Parker, confirmed to TMZ that Parker died on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in Memphis, TN. He was also known for the movie Friday the 13th. “He just wanted to see one last spring…. This is devastating news, but I’m so glad he’s not suffering anymore. I will cherish the time I had with him as my teacher. Sending love to all my fellow students and to his friends and family,” a woman who knew Parker, who worked as an acting coach, wrote on Instagram.

BGB Studio posted a tribute to Parker after his death. “Corey Parker has left us, this earth, this reality, finally to rest. Here is what was shared by his sister, Noelle: I believe he left this world weightless, at peace & surrounded with love,” the Instagram post read.

“From Risa: I am writing to you, Corey, here, directly, because this is how I… we… keep you with us. I have known and loved you for the past 45 years, since our E.S.T days in NY as hungry wild artists,” the post continued.

“You were a massive part of my creative work, my creative family, for decades. It meant everything and full circle when you joined our BGB community as a teacher, and we navigated the work together, all of us, always coming back to the truth and the potential of storytelling, of the actor’s endless power. You kept us all honest and brave and hopeful and about art,” it added.

Tributes flowed on the studio’s comment thread. “Corey was a wonderful human being, amazing actor and loving teacher / coach. His love and care for us as students were sincere and heartfelt. I am honored and privileged to be in his zoom class. His strength and bravery throughout his battle against cancer had given me strength. I will focus on the positives that he instilled in us. Sending love and hugs to his family, friends and my fellow students. May he rest in the forever spring garden and in peace! Love you and miss you, Corey!” wrote another person.

“Oh I am heartbroken to hear this. Corey reawoke my love for the process of acting with his kind encouragement, insightful creativity, and words of inspiration. He was a true artist and an amazing teacher and I feel lucky to have crossed paths with him. Rest easy, Corey. Sending love to his family and to you Risa❤️” wrote another.

Parker had many screen credits to his name. They include Biloxi Blues, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning, Big Man on Campus, White Palace, Flying Blind,Love Boat: The Next Wave, As the World Turns, and Touched by an Angel.
